  • Statewide totals exclude Albury Hospital.

Understanding ambulance transfer times

Ambulance patient transfer time is the total time from ambulance arrival at the hospital to the physical transfer of the patient and handover of care to hospital staff. The median waiting time is the time taken within which half of all patients are tranferred into hospital care.
