Understanding CAMHS

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are specialist mental health services provided for children and adolescents up to the age of 18 years with serious emotional disturbance. Services include crisis assessment and treatment, intensive mobile youth outreach support, continuing care case management, school early intervention programs, acute inpatient services and day programs.
